Power Bites

My absolute favorite things to keep around are (what I guess I’ll call) Power Bites. One of the hardest things to fight against when trying to keep a healthy lifestyle is a busy schedule, and these little guys always keep me from grabbing quick unhealthy snacks or meals when I’m on the go. Power bites are easy to make, can be kept hours unrefrigerated, and make a great snack–they’ll keep you full on a busy day when it is harder than usual to eat.

You can give and take with your ingredients–I’ve switched up some things from when I first found the recipe, myself. But here’s how I make them:

Ingredients: IMG_9246

1/2 Cup of Steel Cut Oats*
1/2 Cup of Oat Clusters*
1 Scoop of Protein Powder
1/3 Cup of Chocolate Chips (I cut up Dove dark chocolate)
1/4 Cup of Agave
1/2 Cup of Almond Butter
1/3 Cup of Flax Seeds

Instructions (3 easy steps):
Step 1: Mix all ingredients together


Step 2: Roll mixture into bite-sized balls and arrange to chill in refrigerator



Step 3: After chilled in refrigerator (2-3 hours), place in storage container and you’re done! And remember, while I said these can be kept hours unrefrigerated, they are meant to stay in the refrigerator when they can be.


And there you go, now you’ve got your Power Bites! Enjoy!
