I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it doesn’t even matter what happens in Vegas, you can’t not love it there.
The best thing about Las Vegas is that your time spent there doesn’t ever have to look the same as your last, but each time you’ll walk away with some of your best memories. I’ve been twice before and each visit held its own agenda. I’m ashamed to say that one trip may or may not have involved male strippers and the other was meant for relaxation in the sunshine with my husband — completely different experiences but each was perfect in its own way.
Everything in the city is immaculate and grand. No matter where you look, you’re entertained, and no matter where you go, you’re having a good time. It doesn’t matter if you gamble or not, drink or don’t, are looking for relaxation or want to go and do, see, and be it all, are there for business, pleasure, or a mixture of both (which was me last week!) It simply does not matter what happens in Vegas — you can’t not love it there.
On our visit, Slade and I stayed at two hotels and toured a third. If you’re planning your next trip, these three are all great to consider! Each with their own personality, to match the different types of Vegas experiences you might be looking for. And, if you want more information on any hotel or Virtuoso Amenities at a few properties in particular, let me know!
If you follow me on Instagram, you can find full hotel tours of each The Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, and Mandarin Oriental in my highlight reels. All three of these places were stunning! Keep on reading to know some quick thoughts I have on all three, and never hesitate to ask me for more information!
You walk in the place and suddenly, you’re practically drowning in class. From floor to glass-blown ceiling, I promise you, you’ll be impressed. The resort & casino is distinguished and elegant, and grand both in scale and design. The restaurants, casino, pools and clubs are all worthy of a jaw drop — and the prominent fountains’ beauty goes without saying.
This was where Slade and I relaxed by the pool all day — and we couldn’t have pictured a more ideal setting to do just that.
Step only one foot in the door and you’ll feel completely confident that you’re in the perfect place to have a good time. A great time, actually. The Cosmo has a head turning, neck breaking urban design that I just know people in their 20s and 30s (mentally not physically – age is just how you feel, y’all) will fall in love with. Expect to check into your residential-styled room and find the perfect launch pad for the time of your life.
This is where Slade and I spent our last night in Vegas, and where we dreamt of the next time we’d be returning. Can you tell this was my personal fav?
The Mandarin Oriental
On the surrounding walls of the property, you’re in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip — I’m talking prime location and walking distance from anything you could ever need. Step within the walls of the property and be immediately transported into a soothing oasis in the midst of all chaos. Like magic. Experience Mandarin and experience sleek design risen high above the city lights. You’ll notice subtle Asian-inspired touches throughout the non-gaming, non-smoking resort. Unique is the best word I can use to describe Mandarin Oriental. Beautifully, and honestly unique.
